His House, our Home

“ There are so many people who come to Church and know the ‘building’ but not the Builder.

God is Love.

Now the above might be the most random statement you’ve heard; or you might burst into delight as we do; but we believe that God is indeed Love. We believe & love God with our whole heart; we love His Son Jesus Christ; and we love the Holy Spirit; and because of some very trying times in life, we know that without Them and the sacrifices that They made on Earth [God sending Jesus; Jesus dying for you and I; Jesus leaving the gift of the Holy Spirit to dwell inside of us; correct and direct us], we wouldn’t have the Church.

The Church is the House of God; it is the bride of Christ. It is not a “building” as many of us may have perceived, but the Church is made up of everyday people like you and I who have a love for Jesus and making a difference in this world.

We are Christ’s ambassadors; and it is in His House that we find our home.

Welcome Home.

Jesus loves you, and so do we. xx

“…And on this rock, I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

~ Matthew 16:18 ~

You are no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country.

You are no longer strangers or outsiders.
You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a Home.

He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what He is building.

He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now He’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together.

We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at Home.

~ Ephesians 2:19-22, The Message. ~
